Before the Spring Festival, we clean our house and buy new clothes. We also put up red couplets on the doors. Red is the color of happiness and good luck. My parents and I go to the market to buy food, such as meat, vegetables, and fruits.

On the eve of the Spring Festival, we have a big dinner with all the family members. We eat dumplings, which are very delicious. After dinner, we watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. It has many funny shows and songs.

At night, we set off fireworks and firecrackers. They make loud sounds and beautiful lights in the sky. I like them very much. We also give red envelopes to children. The money inside is for good luck.

During the Spring Festival, I visit my grandparents and relatives. We play games and eat a lot of food. I feel very happy and excited.

I think the Spring Festival is a special time because it brings family together and makes people feel warm and joyful. I really look forward to it every year.
