【保护环境的初一英语作文】As a student in the seventh grade, I have learned a lot about the importance of protecting the environment. In our daily life, we can do many small things to help keep our earth clean and healthy.

First, we should not litter. When we go out, we should take our trash home or put it into the garbage bin. Littering makes the environment dirty and can harm animals and plants. For example, if we throw plastic bags on the road, they may be eaten by animals by mistake, which can be very dangerous.

Second, we should save water and electricity. Turn off the lights when we leave a room, and fix any leaking taps. Water is very important for us, but it is also limited. We must use it wisely.

Third, we can plant more trees. Trees help to clean the air and provide homes for birds and insects. Everyone can take part in planting trees during special days like Tree Planting Day.

In addition, we should try to use less plastic. Bring your own shopping bag when you go to the market, and avoid using disposable plastic bottles. Plastic takes a long time to decompose and can pollute the soil and water.

Protecting the environment is not only the duty of adults, but also the responsibility of students like us. If everyone does their part, our world will become better and more beautiful.
